Turkey begins clean up operations.
Description
As rescue efforts end, clean up begins in Southeast Turkey.
Last weekend's massive earthquake left at least 582 people dead, with more than 200 rescued from the rubble.
SOUNDBITE: Emergency worker Yilmaz Ersoy , saying (Turkish):
"Search and rescue operations are coming to an end today, unless we receive a particular request for missing people."
Nearly a week after a powerful earthquake some families say they still have no tents with winter fast approaching.
Many gave up expectations of state assistance in the predominantly Kurdish region after spending a sixth night in the bitter cold.
Turkey's government is trying to build bridges with the ethnic Kurdish minority while fighting PKK militants, making it particularly sensitive to any accusations of neglect.
