Tunisia's extra-harsh marijuana law

France 24 journalists meet eyewitnesses (Observers) to discuss memorable events they have experienced. The programme brings to the airways the unique journalistic online project 'The Observers'.
Our journalists went to Tunisia to meet with an Observer whose son is in prison with a year's sentence - just for posessing marijuana. Due to a harsh law left over from the Ben Ali era, thousands of Tunisians are currently locked up for smoking the drug.
