TSUNAMI

A few days after the tsunami of March 11th 2011, Brighton’s inhabitants celebrate the spring equinox tide at lowest ebb. They are able to briefly regain ground that was long ago submerged by a gigantic cataclysm, and pay homage to the remains of a pier destroyed by fire. The sense of an event entrusted to memory.

Quelques jours après le tsunami du 11 mars 2011, les habitants de Brighton, au plus fort du jusant, fêtent la grande marée d’équinoxe. Ils regagnent une terre jadis emportée par un gigantesque cataclysme et rendent hommage à la carcasse d'une jetée détruite par un incendie. La mise en mémoire d’un regard porté sur un événement.
