Tsunami HiroshiSu - The Rose

Gracefully curving petals
Red as blood
Arching perfectly
Intricate patterns
Dew shimmering on each petal
A thousand moons reflected in each drop
Perfect strait green stem
Fingers sliding along it
A prick
A drop of blood
She falls to the floor
Doomed to sleep a hundred years
The rose falls beside her
Blood shinning on the thorn
Innocent enough
He comes upon her
Tears falling from his eyes
His lips find hers
Blue eye fly open
The spell is broken
He lifts her in his arms
He holds her close
He loves her.
They leave the room happily shinning like twin suns
The rose lies upon the floor
Blood still shinning on the thorn
Left behind
Forgotten
