Truths Wings - Hope

As the flower stands alone in the field
Surrounded by snow, the dark
and the cold it feels

How is the flower supposed to survive
Without water, warmth and light
To thrive

The emptiness is closing, creeping, crushing
All hope it has to keep on living

Now the petals begin to wilt, wither and fade
Signaling the end of a life in this way

But hope fights through the clouds of gloom
The flower now coming to life fighting its doom

Finally, the darkness is driven away
By the spring showing it is here to stay

Life returns to the flower in the field
The beacon of hope it will forever yield
