The mainstream media has been hiding the truth about Iran for many decades. In 1953 the CIA overthrew the legitimate democratically elected leader of Iran and replaced that government with a puppet dictatorship. The Iranian revolution of 1979 was about Iranians taking their country back. Iran has been a Republic ever since but the US has not stopped its aggression and war mongering. To this day the war mongers in Washington DC inflict sanctions on Iranian people and threaten them with embargo.
