Alas Pilipinas spiker Faith Nisperos underscored the importance of the trust and confidence given to her by team captain and setter Jia De Guzman in the AVC Challenge Cup for Women.

Nisperos fired eight points on May 26 at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum where Alas defeated Taiwan, 25-13, 25-21, 25-18, to sweep Pool A at 4-0.
