Trump: The Beginning Or The End?

Since Donald Trump took office, the world order based on international law established after Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 has collapsed.

The United States is not only distancing itself from its Western allies but also sees them as obstacles to its economic growth and progress. During his Senate confirmation speech, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio explicitly stated that the global world order has ended, and America's allies are now using it against the U.S.

Trump’s withdrawal of support for Ukraine and Taiwan, the imposition of tariffs on close allies, and the use of threats to acquire the Panama Canal and Greenland are clear indicators that the world order of the past 84 years has changed.

امریکہ اپنے مغربی اتحادیوں سے نہ صرف دور ہورہا ہے بلکہ اُن کو اپنی معیشت اور ترقی کی راہ میں اہم رکاوٹ بھی گردانتا ہے۔۔ امریکی سیکرٹری آف اسٹیٹ مارکو روبیو نے سینیٹ کی کنفرمیشن کے دوران اپنے خطاب میں نو منتخب صدر کی خارجہ پالیسی کی وضاحت کرتے ہوئے واضع الفاظ میں کہا تھا کہ عالمی ورلڈ آرڈر آج ختم ہوچکا ہے اور اب امریکہ کے اتحادی اسی ورلڈ آرڈر کو ہمارے خلاف استعمال کر رہے ہیں۔
ٹرمپ کا یوکرین اور تائیوان کی حمایت سے پیچھے ہٹنا، اپنے قریبی اتحادی ممالک پر ٹیرف کا نفاذ، پانامہ کینال اور گرین لینڈ حاصل کرنے کے لیے دھمکیوں کا استعمال اس بات کی واضع دلیل ہے کہ گزشتہ 84 برس سے جاری رہنے والا ورلڈ آرڈر تبدیل ہوچکا ہے۔۔
