Shaking,
My body is shaking.
Fear is spreading though my viens.
Sweat is dripping off my nose.
I sit there on my bed,
Surrounded by darkness, `
Watching as shadows move across the room,
Towards me,
Hissing,
Laughing,
And so I sit there watching in fear,
There is no way I can escape,
I’m just a child,
A child…
I let out a scream,
Hoping someone would hear me,
I heard nothing but the laughter,
Just then the shadows resided,
I looked up in surprise,
To see that they were gone,
I get up and look around,
There is only a single door,
I walk towards it,
Hands outstretched,
The door slowly opens,
What I see is…
My world is gone.
