When love is lost
and your heart is broken
when your friends are far
and cant be there
when you're sick and tired
and your body fails you
just remember, that this too will pass

when you're in pain
with no sure way out
when all you love
is dead and gone
when your life seems gray
and so unfair
just remember, that this too will pass

when time draws to a crawl
and all you want is to go home
when you get there
and find you're still alone
when youre left awake at night
and no one is there beside you
just remember, that this too will pass

the time draws near and you'll be alright
when all is just and fair
and until the day has come for you
simply remember, this too, in time, will pass
