The TRATON GROUP at this year’s IAA for commercial vehicles presents. „Transforming Transportation.“ This is the slogan of the TRATON GROUP, formerly Volkswagen Truck & Bus, which is now entering under a new name. Indeed, the first letters of the company´s new name also hint to transportation. But the term reflects several meanings: First, there is no doubt that the entire sector of the transport of goods and people is in the biggest transformation phase so far. New technologies, new players, new trends and new customer demands are transforming the truck and bus business into a new era, a new era of transportation.
