In this video, we will show how to splice 2 900µ fiber. We will be using a Sumitomo T-39 core alignment fusion splicer and a Sumitomo FC6 precision cleave tool.
Then we will need some cleaning fluid, and limp free wipes. Cleaning the fiber is very important part of the splicing process. We need buffer strippers for removing the 900µ and 250 buffers. Some splice protection to protect the exposed fiber. And some 900um fiber.
