On August 7, 2015, it was announced that Antoine Fuqua and Jerry Bruckheimer were developing a series based on the film, Warner Bros. Television was selling it to the broadcast networks. Will Beall wrote the series, while Fuqua would executive producing and would direct the potential pilot, based on his idea of the neo-noir crime thriller.
