Tracy Galloway - Window Box

Description
Where my sun meets earth at dusk
And fair pistils of your hair
Unabated by the scorch
Draw my sigh
As your charm erases rush
But I sent my silent sparrow
To swoop the fertile of your soil
Lest I give too much in faith
Or oppose your dewy need
Shade the drying
How you bloom beneath my spoil
How the spring can cower back
When my wind persists to scorn
Blind with gusts and sewing burrs
Bitter fruit of shallow might
You radiate through shadow
But by no beauty was I born
So in the wicked of my night
Soft I begged through frosty pane
But as though I weep in poison
Sits the bud I cradled fore
Brittle dying
Vexed and vacant shunning rain
