According to Automotive News, Toyota is set to increase it’s production capacity in China by 20%.
The planned expansion is part of a medium-term strategy that aims to increase the Japanese automaker’s sales in China by 50% by the early 2020’s
In addition to raising its manufacturing capacity, Toyota plans to significantly expand its sales network, and focus on electric car technology.
China is currently the world’s largest auto market.
