Tourists pack extra clothes for refugees along with sunscreen

They are bringing extras clothes, shoes even blankets to help the growing number of refugees who have fled war and poverty to get here.

“It’s clothes, shoes, scarves and hats for many of the boat refugees arriving here,” says Anne Mette Harpelund and her friend .
They’ve been encouraged to come by a travel agency which is offering tourists an extra 20 kilos of luggage free if they use it to bring necessities to refugees. They’ve collected clothes with the help of friends and family .
The initiative is gaining support on social media.
