Toulouse mourns its dead

Hundreds of shocked residents in France's southern city of Toulouse came out on the streets to mourn the recent killings of seven locals.

The French government has denied that failures by its intelligence services allowed the killings to be carried out by a lone gunman with known extremist views.

Mohammed Merah, a French citizen of Algerian origin, was shot dead in a police raid on Thursday, but how he was able to access weapons and and launch three attacks has raised many questions.
