Description

An older French couple were looking at a kinetic op art piece by Julio Le Parc at the Palais de Tokyo museum of modern art in Paris, France, and the man stood really close to it and put his hand almost on it (both are forbidden, of course) and the woman reproached him.

You can take photos without flash in this museum and videos are permitted. This was part of the SOLEIL FROID art complex in this enormous museum, where several shows run simultaneously. You could take the métro to TROCADERO to get here -- it's near the Eiffel Tower. Julio Le Parc's works were set up so people could wander among them. Some are more conventional works (paintings on canvas, et c.), many you can be amidst and be in "environments," a few you can touch and interact with, some are mostly just light and projection, others are solid and static but trick the eye, and so on.

On Dailymotion I post clips on LisaFalour and on YouTube on CUTECATFAITH and SLOBOMOTION. My website is cutecatfaith.com. This digital video recording leaves the rights to the artist Julio Le Clerc and only my making of the clip and my comments are copyright 2013 Lisa B. Falour all rights reserved. I have many other clips of this fantastic show up on YouTube for you to enjoy. It was really fun and could have been a "happening" with music, cocktails and dancing, for sure. At times, it was hard not to fall over or crash into stuff! Everyone there was pretty disoriented. In a good way.
