Tories demand Mandelson inquiry

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer did not "convince" anyone he is "being truthful" about the appointment of Peter Mandelson as US Ambassador following reports of failed security vetting. Sir Mel Stride the Shadow Chancellor has led calls for an inquiry and demands answers. It comes after the PM ismissed top civil servant Olly Robbins for failing to disclose details of the checks.
