teaching myself not to assume
learning to sit back and observe
holding back my fears that consume
understanding life is hard
and we dont get what we think we deserve

Stop the world from effecting my mood
quit letting people take me down with them
Controlling my anger
and not say shut up and listen

People arnt perfect
and we all make mistakes
accept people for who they are
thats the reality i have to face

everyone feels the same pain i do
how they handle it
they just have a differnt point of view
on what todo

Cant point the finger at someone
for the way i feel
have to look past my pride
and see what is real
