True 'till the end was my very dearest friend
Until the gosh darned woman appeared
For hope, there is none
But for him, there is one
Of whom he likes to call, 'my dear'
Her beauty, I agree, is even more than what you see
Shoot, I used to be in love with the gal
But I knew that I shouldn't
I knew I simply couldn't!
I never could betray my pal
And yet, there he goes
If it's leaking, blows her nose
He's a slave from now to afar
I will give him time
As he finishes this rhyme
To discover where his true friends are
