The Washington tolling lobby is trying to make it easier to toll existing interstates. This would drain highway users and businesses, disrupt economic development and traffic patterns, cost localities more in road repair, and increase congestion on local roads. It would also violate the spirit of the U.S. Constitution's Commerce Clause.
