Todd Allen - As Years Go By

As the years go by,
the wiser we appear.
Our grandchildren pretend to listen to our stories,
of the memories we cherish so dear.
The older we become,
the more we know,
if they would listen to our advice,
they wouldn't have such a tough road to hoe.
