The world was shocked by the catastrophic earthquake in Nepal. But, amid the turmoil, drones were used to find survivors in remote areas. Unmanned aircraft, more commonly known as drones, were initially developed for military purposes, but they are increasingly flying into our day-to-day lives. The advantages of drones are well-known in journalism, business and other sectors, but there are obvious privacy concerns and fears they could be used for criminal purposes.
