Description
Hello I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update. Today the city Hongcheon in Gangwon-do province broke the record for the country's highest recorded temperature at 41 degrees Celsius while Seoul saw 39.6 degrees,... a record for the capital.
Tomorrow is going to be as hot as today. This heat can be dangerous even to young healthy people, so stay indoors during the day and drink lots of water. This applies to Beijing and Tokyo as well, where sizzling hot weather is expected to continue.
After long hours of record-breaking heat, the country will experience a tropical night. Tomorrow morning Seoul begins at 29 degrees Celsius, Daegu and Gyeongju a bit better at 25.
During the day, it's going to be a repeat of today,... Seoul getting up to 39, Gwangju and Daegu at 37 and 38 degrees.
I suggest you find excitement indoors this weekend, since the daytime highs will remain severe.
I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.
