Tim McLaughlin - My Pain
4 Views • Oct 28, 2014
Description
then I would be the man I want to be.
The pain cuts deep into my chest;
castigation for my inabilities.
You are the one that completes me,
but for all your beauty you can not make me strong.
I am weak,
and our suffering is the penalty.
Don't love me,
I am too incapable a man,
too ugly a person,
too wretched a soul.
I have the most beautiful woman in the world,
unfortunately it is something my heart is to feeble to bear.
I cannot do this to you,
I cannot drag you through my emptyness,
my weakness and pain.
You are able to deal with that which I am unable.
If I could, I would do anything to hold onto you,
but you do not deserve me in my helpless state.
You are beautiful and I am not.
