left behind a certain life
in attempt of something new;
escaped a certain inner strife
privi to only few.

searching for a worthy trial
existing in the world.
yet nothing that come forth assail
did make the will unfurl

but blind as hell i surely was
for i forgot to see:
my stumbling block, my biggest curse,
existing within me.

its victory: carved deep in my walls,
its rising wells drown my atoll.
