Tibny Shine - Freedom Is Mine

Many Years have walked past me
As casually as a spring breeze
Somehow I didn't notice
My life was as the trees
Solid I was planted
From a seed I had grown tall
My roots deep in the soil 
Pot-bound I began to fall
I hadn't grown in years
Roots entangled in my pot
All nutrition gone for good
Roots weak and starting to rot
My heart yearned for so much more
Open fields, freedom, high sky's
But as the tree can not walk
Should I stay and wait or try?
Breaking from the ceramic
There's no turning back now
Grow or die no other choice
To death I would not bow
Emowered by a dream
Doing the impossible
Smashing through boundaries
The exception to the rule
Without me feeling the change
One more year will not sneak by
Open fields and high skies
Now I call freedom mine
