Tia Maria - Just Sometimes

Life is really not that bad
What reason have I to feel sad
Others are going through terrible times
Whilst I spend mine writing poetic rhymes

Life for me is like A to Zed
Everyday I wake in my comfy bed
Take my time getting ready for work
Only a short distance is just another perk

Most days just fly on by
Seldom work makes me cry
At home my chores are very few
It's just me since my little chicks flew

I quite like this simple life
Had enough of all that strife
But when I feel this empty feeling
Just sometimes, old life I am missing
