15 Views • Aug 16, 2018
Description
As part of rail safety week, Sydney Trains have released CCTV footage from June 2018, showing thrillseekers “buffer riding” on the back of trains in New South Wales.
There were 110 reported cases of buffer riding across the network in 2017, according to Sydney Trains.
“All it takes is for the train to accelerate or brake quickly for someone to be shaken from the buffers and onto the tracks,” they wrote. “If the fall doesn’t kill you, the next train will.” Credit: Sydney Trains via Storyful
