Three servicemen killed within 24 hours
Description
Three British servicemen were killed in separate incidents in Afghanistan in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Defence has said.
An airman from the RAF Regiment died in a road accident last night near Camp Bastion in Helmand.
Also yesterday a marine from 40 Commando Royal Marines died in an explosion while on foot patrol in Sangin.
The MoD earlier announced a soldier, a member of the Royal Dragoon Guards, died in a blast in the Nahr-e Saraj district of Helmand today.
Next of kin have been informed.
