Description
Hundreds of migrants stuck at the border of Macedonia and Greece, some for more than a week, protested their plight in Idomeni, Greece, on Saturday, February 27. Greece has been forcibly removing refugees from the border town following Macedonia’s decision to allow only Syrian and Iraqi refugees with passports to enter the country.Local police said about 6,000 were stuck at the border, which Macedonia has kept closed in recent days, barring even Syrian and Iraqi refugees from crossing. Macedonian authorities opened the border Saturday afternoon, and officials said about 300 refugees were expected to cross</a>. Credit: Twitter/Marion Dautry
