Thousands feared dead or missing in Libya flooding

Description
Massive floods hit eastern Libya on Sept. 10, 2023, destroying neighborhoods in a coastal city and causing severe flooding in Derna. The current death toll is 2,300, with 10,000 people missing, and these numbers may rise as search and rescue efforts continue, according to the Red Cross.
