Thomas' driver jokes Thomas doesn't need him to stop, but Thomas takes him seriously and when he gets short shrift from the others after bragging about it tries to prove them wrong. Thomas gets his chance the next morning when a careless cleaner starts him, but Thomas is unable to stop and crashes into the stationmaster's house.
