Despite a singer's name being on the label, the singer's identify is unclear or disputed.

The Down Beat label comes in two different forms, and on one label the singer is identified as Marie Knight.

Another Down Beat label has a different design (from perhaps a different year?), and it says "Sister Katty Marie," which is just another name for Marie Knight (whose real name was Marie Roach).

Marie Knight (aka Sister Katty Marie, who was born Marie Roach) sang duets with Sister Rosetta Tharpe.

But discographers think Sister Rosetta Tharpe is the actual one singing here. Maybe the name was changed on the label for some legal reason that we can't know today (maybe a contract dispute--perhaps she was exclusive to a different company?).
