This optical illusion can make you hallucinate naturally

Then put in some headphones, hit full screen and watch this bizarre optical illusion that will twist your perception of the visual world (but only for a few seconds).

This amazing optical illusion will significantly alter your vision for a short period, and you don’t even need to do anything illegal.
Amazingly, this optical illusion is thought to be one of the oldest in the world, and was first described in ancient Greek texts (although presumably the Youtube video wasn’t around back then).

It was observed in waterfalls and other naturally occurring and visually stimulating phenomenon, however it still has a similar effect to the above video.

It’s called a Motion After Effect (MAE), in which certain neurons in your brain are sort of ‘re-programmed’ to respond to what you see.

However when you tear your eyes away from the mesmerising video the effect continues, causing your vision to be altered for a short time
