Researchers at Purdue University have captured images of the brain like never before. The researchers took high resolution time-lapse images of mice brain cells communicating by using a method called “multi-pupil adaptive optics</a>“. It enables images to be taken of a wider field at a higher resolution and speed. Researchers say this allows them to study around 30 million data points per second and could help them better understand how the brain learns and communicates.
