Scientists in Argentina have discovered the world’s first fluorescent frog</a>…by accident. They were researching the dull complexion of the South American polka-dot tree frog. When placed under a UV light, the frog’s skin emitted a bright green glow. The frog’s organs can even be seen through the translucent skin. Scientists say the glow is caused by both lymph and glandular secretion. They believe the glow is used to communicate, and most likely to attract a mate.
