This device detects cancer in seconds [Mic Archives]
Description
Scientists at the University of Texas at Austin developed the MasSpec Pen. Surgeons place it against potentially cancerous tissue and it detects whether it actually contains cancer. The device also prevents cancerous tissue from going undetected during surgery.
