This comedian is breaking down Asian stereotypes

Will Choi is tired of the way Asians and Asians-Americans are represented in the media. The comedian and actor spoke to Mic about the dangers of stereotyping and the persistence of whitewashing in American film and television. Choi hopes people will stand up to whitewashing and speak up when they see negative representations of Asians and Asian-Americans. “Whenever you see something that’s not right, you just have to say something,” Choi says.
