Color-Changing Cocktail Ingredients

1 cup red cabbage, shredded

1/2 cup water

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 ounce simple syrup

Ice

1 ounce vodka

1 ounce peach schnapps

Juice of 1/2 lemon

Club soda, for topping

Lemon peel garnish

Directions<ol>
<li>In a food processor or using an immersion blender, blend together cabbage and water until a red liquid is created. Strain liquid through a mesh strainer into a glass. Add baking soda and stir to turn blue. Add simple syrup and mix to combine.</li>
<li>Fill cocktail shaker with ice and vodka. Cover and shake until chilled.</li>
<li>In a glass, add 1/2 ounce of blue liquid. Top with chilled vodka, peach schnapps, and lemon juice and finish with club soda. Garnish with a lemon peel and serve. </li>
