A Hindu temple located in Carapo Village, Arima was broken into twice in two days.
And both times, the thieves not only stole items but desecrated the mandir by cooking corned beef inside, a practice prohibited in the Hindu religion. Reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh spoke with the mandir’s vice president today and tells us what took place.
