TheSilent Loudness - Happysadness

We call ourselves happy when we have a moment of happiness
But only call ourselves sad when it lasts
If happiness was labeled as a lasting attribute rather than a candy bar there would be a lot less happy people
As soon as our happy moment is over we close the window
And don't let anymore happiness in
Yet if we are sad and more sadness comes our way we welcome it
To embrace the sad feelings and feel as sad as we can be
So we can call ourselves sad
We hide behind a curtain in our parents' house
And no matter how old we are, our feet stick out at the bottom
