A child watches the flutter-bye gliding.
It is as light as a dandy-lion puff flying.
Its wings rapidly flutter in the summer air.
Fragile wings flap as a synchronized pair.

The flutter-bye is passing nearby for a minute.
It comes to visit briefly; it has a time limit.
It continues on its way with patterned wings.
Wind chimes sway gently as a melody rings.

The scent of flowers blooming is enthralling.
The gentle raindrops have started falling.
Solitary flutter-bye, please have a safe flight.
You brought happiness and gave visual delight.
