In the cold of the night
When all the air it flees
Passing through the storm
Not into a gentle breeze

The solumn grass blades
Cannot fight the freeze
Ice frost tipped
The branches of trees

Your 'caustic' words
Bring me to my knees
Stoic is the Ambience
Similar to dis-ease

Dark-dank-cold situations
Are failing by degrees
Drowning themselves as if
Swept away by tidal wave seas
