Let's Play The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut. This is the first video of the series.

First part of The Witcher: Enhanced Edition playthrough with live commentary, tips, and guids. This will be my second time playing the game from start to finish.

The Witcher launched in October 2007. This was the first game put out by the Polish developer CD Projekt Red Studio. The huge success of The Witcher led them to put out The Witcher: Enhanced Edition about a year later in September 2008. This is the version we are playing.

The Witcher is a mature fantasy RPG for the PC developed by CD Projekt RED STUDIO and published by CD Projekt in Poland and Atari for the rest of the world.

The game was released world wide in October 2007. The Enhanced Edition was released in September 2008. This version fixxed allot of the bugs, added a ton of new dialog, and uped the graphics all conciderably improving the game The Director's Cut released in July 2009. The original and Enhanced North American versions were heavily censored. The Director's Cut has all the improvements and updates that the Enhanced Edition has, but with all censorship removed, which was originally applied to the North American version.

The Witcher is based on a series of fantasy short stories (collected in two books, except for two stories) and five novels about the witcher Geralt of Rivia by a polish fantasy writer, Andrzej Sapkowski.

Why do a Let's Play of a 5 year old game now?

For starters The Witcher was a game that was well ahead of it's time in many ways. More importantly though CD Projekt Red recently announced that they would be releasing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in 2014.

The Witcher series is a very decision based story line. So what you do in the game affects the outcomes and story of the game. Add to this that you can import your game save from The Witcher into The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and then your original decisions affect the story in the second title. It is believed that you will also be able to import game saves from The Witcher 2 into The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in a similar manor changing the story in the third title of the series as well.

So in preparation for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt I have decided to replay the series from the very start as my old game saves have long since been deleted. So for those of you who might not want to invest in the first 2 games but want to see the origins behind Geralt of Rivia, Triss Merigold, Vesemir, Lambart, and the rest of the very well fleshed out characters in the Witcher storyline then be sure to watch this Let's Play series. This is also a great way for those who have played the series to see alternative story line to the one they played.

Note: I am aware if the bad audio sync from around 35:40 to 46:26. I am sorry about that. Not sure what happened. I tried to fix it but I am still learning Adobe Premiere and just seemed to make it wors the more I tried LOL.
