While sound bars are usually thought of as middle of the road replacements for higher end home theater systems, Sony hopes to change all that. Behind the grill sits 9 distinct speakers with 7 individual drivers capable of packing 400 watts of surround sound audio. It's complemented by a subwoofer which isn't afraid to wake up your neighbors. At a MSRP of $1299 this isn't a device we expect to see in many dorm rooms, but those on a relentless quest to deck out their man cave might have just found their match.
