The Trophy Fire "Spinning"
Description
As a three-piece American rock outfit hailing from San Francisco, The Trophy Fire began as a studio project in 2008 while songwriter, guitarist, and Ben Flanagan was between tours with former band, The Actual. After partnering with Talking House Records, they released their first debut A Lifetime in the Middle of the Ocean featuring numerous musical guest collaborations. The debut sparked initial interest in the band and that same year took the stage at SXSW and other festivals.
After Talking House Records’ fold in 2010 and some line-up changes, The Trophy Fire became the band they are today. Headed by Flanagan and leveled out by brothers John and Adam Schuman, the three-piece quickly found themselves at home with Portland, OR’s Greyday Records. 2011 saw the band’s second full-length Modern Hearts and multiple tours alongside acts such as The Dear Hunter, Dredg, and Far. It also brought us the stellar clip for “Tired Eyes” that impressed programmers and viewers alike last year. The new full length Directions for Daylight is set for released in summer of this year, including the following clip “Spinning.”
