Description

Florida sea turtles shuffle towards the ocean on Melbourne Beach at the start of the Tour de Turtles. This is an annual educational "marathon" sponsored by the Sea Turtle Conservancy. 18 of the endangered turtles are outfitted with satellite transmitters to track them as they migrate, nest, and feed.
