Just a couple of days before he was going to Celtics training camp in 1984, Dallas Mavericks Head coach Rick Carlisle was golfing with his father and was struck by lightning. Rick Carlisle has always seemed like a "tough mf'er" but he has started to mellow down due to the level of good fortune he's had, including surviving being struck by lightning.
